The bride loves old movies (Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, Judy Garland, etc...), so I thought I'd use this idea for her shower. Like I said, nothing too cheesy (like dressing up like old movie stars, or decorating with big gold "Walk of Fame" stars). Any help and ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

old hollywood glamour themed prom? I just found out that my theme for prom is old hollywood glamour. The one problem is that i am black and most of the pictures I have seen are of white people. i need a black person to model after or just a nice outfit (dress shoes jewelry) to fit the theme but that will look good on a black person. Any ideas? pictures would be nice also, some ideas for original, or creative centerpieces would be great. (my best friend is the president and she asked me to bring some ideas to the class meeting

Suggestions for a Old Hollywood Themed Sweet 16?!? My friend and I are turning 16! The theme is old hollywood (Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Marylin Monroe, ect...) I would loooove suggestions for food (what type of cake too?) and drinks or anything else you would like to offer =) (such as music, activities, ect...) * Try to keep in mind that people will be dressed up so messy food is out. Best sites to find prom dresses? my senior class having an Old Hollywood/1920s and 30s themed prom and it's not until late May but i wanna start looking for a look now... i already know what my hair's gonna look like ( http://www.beyonceimages.org/displayimage.php?album=160&pos=0 ) but idk where to find a good dress. i looked on David's Bridal's website but there wasn't any "Old Hollywood" type dresses. so can u please help? thanx :)
