Ghost Encounter - Oregon State HWY 26 / Hillsboro - Meeks' Memorial? This event happened in May 2008. ( If possible, can you use a map finder - and type: Jackson School Road, Hillsboro, Oregon - and then keep pressing the upward arrow until you find the HWY 26 off-ramp.) I've tried to write a short story about being visited... for a Creative Writers' Class, as one of those 10 minute writing assignments. This makes more sense if you were to take a Bicycle Ride there, to get an idea how frighteningly empty and desolate this area is... right by Meek Street, and Victory Road. Yes, I spook easily. Can I tell you what happened - without you laughing ?!? I didn't bring my cell-phone with me while taking that Bicycle Ride, and assumed it was already in my backpack... and had it on vibrate, so I don't have to listen to my roommate's irritating ring-ing, and asking me, "Where I'm at... every hour or so." Thank goodness the pain medication, Michael was on - finally made him SLEEP... and I just wanted out of the Apartment Complex. He gets so needful, and complains about needing to see the chiropractor, and then he wants me to fix his meal... and constantly keeping everything clean and sanitary as if I have Obessive Compulsive Disorder. Do you get the impression - that I actually don't have much of a social life ? - So back to the Ghostly Encounter... Some folks get to experience something FUNNY in their home - but, no... Are my legs too short compared to my overall height or not? I feel like my legs are extremely short compared to my overall height, made even worse because of the fact that I am not only a mesomorph and a medium frame, but 5'10 3/4" to 5'11" as well. All the celebrity mesomorphs I've looked at all seem to have long legs such as Mariah Carey, Tina Turner and Serena Williams no matter how thin or muscular compared to each other. I'm just worried that I'm too masculine looking for a woman compared to other girls who all seem delicate, with long bodies and legs even though I've met some that said they were medium frame. I'm worried that I missed out on the "genetic boat": that I missed out on all the general physical characteristics that are supposed to make me a "woman", no matter the height or weight, etc. Things like long legs, long arms, long fingers and toes and even a shorter torso. I have a long face, a big head, big hands and short, stubby toes and fingers despite my height. I am struggling because I am trying to accept myself and convince myself of my femininity but feel like I don't even deserve to say I'm a girl or try out "girly" things. Are my legs too short compared to my overall height? I feel like my legs are extremely short compared to my overall height, made even worse because of the fact that I am not only a mesomorph and a medium frame, but 5'10 3/4" to 5'11" as well. All the celebrity mesomorphs I've looked at all seem to have long legs such as Mariah Carey, Tina Turner and Serena Williams no matter how thin or muscular compared to each other. I'm just worried that I'm too masculine looking for a woman compared to other girls who all seem delicate, with long bodies and legs even though I've met some that said they were medium frame. I'm worried that I missed out on the "genetic boat": that I missed out on all the general physical characteristics that are supposed to make me a "woman", no matter the height or weight, etc. Things like long legs, long arms, long fingers and toes and even a shorter torso. I have a long face, a big head, big hands and short, stubby toes and fingers despite my height. I am struggling because I am trying to accept myself and convince myself of my femininity but feel like I don't even deserve to say I'm a girl or try out "girly" things. Do you think that this part of my story sounds good? -This is just the first beginning parts of my story. I want to know if you think it sounds good. This is Chapter 5. Before the Party (Savanna's House), "I don't look like my self, I like it." (Flash Back, August 29, 2008) "Hey mom, I'm going over to Savanna's house to this party, and for once I would just wish you would want me to stay home. And maybe we could eat dinner together or just talk." Is what I wanted to say to my mom when I seen her walk in the door of the house with her boyfriend right beside her. But instead I just told her bye and walked past her and out the door and made my way down the street to Savanna's house. She only lived two blocks away from me. So I didn't need her to come and pick me up, like she wanted too. Instead I told her that I just wanted to walk. The air was crisp and warm and the sky was cloudy. You know how it gets right before a big thunderstorm? How you can feel the cool mist in the air and the light breeze that blows on your face to take away the humidity. This was my favorite weather and I wanted to enjoy it before the dreadful fall and winter came. My least favorite seasons. I was wearing a pink fancy tank top that had think straps and was cut to a v-neck. It had glitter down the front of it and was outlined with lace. It looked perfect against my pale skin. I had on a pair of low rise black jeans, which had white pinstrips down them. I was wearing my white tennis shoes. I had my hair back in a pony tail and hadn't put any make up on. Savanna told me she would do at her house, so she could have me looking perfect. I was just carrying my purse and had a small jacket just to cover myself up incase I wanted too. I didn't like to expose too much skin. That was just the way I was, I guess. It didn’t make me feel very comfortable. I stopped at the street light, and starred at the stupid "Don't Walk" sign that was flashing. Yeah, what kind of an idiot would want to walk out in the road with cars moving at the speed that they were? I stood there waiting and looked around at the other people beside me. There was and old man, with gray hair and was wearing a business suit. He was talking impatiently in a cell phone and was looking down at his watch on his wrist. Probably some kind of business guy. There were some other people that were dress like that too. I looked behind me and saw some girls that looked around the age fifth teen or fourteen and were giggling and blushing at some guy that was standing on the other side of the crowd waiting. I glanced over at him and felt my own self blush. He was starring right at me. Now I can understand why the girls were giggling. I felt like a little girl myself, looking at some kind of celebrity crush in a magazine. He was beyond gorgeous, with dark black shaggy hair, that went into his eyes. (I couldn't exactly tell if he was looking at me or the person behind me but his direction was poited in my way). He was wearing a black t-shirt and just regular blue jeans. He was extremely pale and was very muscular. He had his hands in his pockets and just standing there, not many people were standing next to him. FInally, the "Don't Walk" sign changed to the "Walk" sign and the whole group of people, including me, started walking across the road. I stole glances of the strange guy as I got to the other side of the street. Every body went their separate ways and I started walking down the street again, just a little bit longer and would get to Savanna's house. I kept looking around for the strange guy, but didn't ever see him again. It was like he just disappeared. I saw Savanna's house up head, the big two story white suburban house. Her father was the treasurer of Cincinnati, so they were pretty much rich as can be. There were no cars parked outside the house, and it looked dead. No body was around in the neighborhood and it started to ease my worry, that something would probably go horribly wrong. I started walking up the black top driveway, and walked up to the big porch, which had a bunch of lawn furniture sitting around. I reached for the door bell, when the door flew back and Savanna appeared. She got the biggest smile across her face and started to open the glass screen door, so I took a step inside. She was wearing a strapless tank top. It had a circle cut out in the center around the top, near the neck of the tank top, so you could see a lot of cleavage. It had different designs down the front of it, with the colors purple, pink, and white through it. She had on a pair of light blue jeans, that looked extremely tight and she was barefoot. Her blonde hair was all curly that went to about her shoulders with her side bangs really straight almost covering her left eye. I could tell she had sliver hoop ear rings on, when she pulled her side bangs behind her ear. She had a bunch of black eyeliner on, and mascara. Is Miley Cyrus Honestly That Bad? Shes a bad role model and negative influence, but honestly half of the teenager girls in America act, dress and dance, and take photos just like hers. But that still doesnt Justify anything since she is a celebrity she should try to watch herself and look out for her fans. She has proven that she can sing, look on youtube, go to search and type in 7 thing teen choice 2008, type in Fly on The wall Berlin, Fly on the wall on Dancing with the Stars, The Climb Kids Inaugural. She does has some decent performances. Her acting has been increasingly horribly lately, but her new movie The Last Song looks good. but i agree most of her fans are teen now so people really need to stop putting blame on the kids. but im not gonna lie. though she does occasionally have god performances her vocal still need work. if parents do happen to have a little kid at home make sure you know who they look up to and dont use your Tv as a babysitter. She tries to hard to act mature! I like her but she need some sense knocked into her or her fame wont last and she needs to start working on a real career! Dont you agree? How is my story so far? Any tips/advice? Priscilla, Diana, Jackie, Aileen, and Salina, together we are the fantastic five, saving the world from evil by having a strong friendship. Haha JK about saving the world, but we are the fantastic five and we do have a strong friendship. Our “clique”, “groupie”, “club”, “circle”, or whatever you want to identify us, includes: Priscilla, Jackie, Salina, Aileen, and Diana. Each of us has different looks, backgrounds, personalities, qualities, talents, and lots of other stuff that makes us what we are, well, best friends. Diana the artist, Aileen the overachiever, Priscilla the social and personality, Jackie the athlete, and Salina the singer, we are all different in many ways but that is why we get along so well. This summer, the summer after middle school and before high school, will be the most challenging, exciting, scary, adventurous, surprising, and overall, awesome summer ever. The five of our lives are essentially never going to be the same after this summer of twist, turns, and through streets that just may seem like dead ends. The 8th grade year has come to an end. Many wonderful times and many more dreadful times, but we got through it, together. When I mean “we”, I mean my little clique of friends: Aileen, Jackie, Salina, Diana, and me. After all the complicated work, all the struggles to get through 8th grade and move on in life, everything is finally over. Everything in this story is “we” because we are always together, through the good times and the bad, and we are always part of each other, none complete without another. “All students please report to the commons immediately for the 8th grade ceremony.” Mrs. Merritt announced on the loudspeaker. From that moment on, all of our phones have been ringing off the hook due to all of us calling each other at every and any waking moment possible, to talk about the trip. It was planned. We would be flying from the SeaTac Airport to the El Rosa Airport at 4 AM on July 13, 2008 and come back exactly 6 weeks later. This would be our first big trip together and it would make our lives change forever, even more than we would have thought! We would be on flight number 1376 on Mexico International Airlines. There were five tickets, one for each of us, and we would be staying at Priscilla’s grandma’s friend’s home who just happens to live next door to This trip, though we may not know it, is going to change our lives and have many twists and turns that will carry all of us on a journey, together. “Flight 1376 is ready to board, I repeat, Flight 1376 is ready to board, if this is your flight, please report to terminal C9 to board the plane. Thank you.” That was our cue to get out of Starbucks and get going towards our terminal before we miss our plane, which wouldn’t be good, not good at all. Priscilla ordered a light caramel frappicino with triple shots and whipped cream, Salina ordered a mocha cappuccino, Jackie, a pumpkin spice frappicino, Diana a black coffee, and Aileen, a hot chocolate. After all our orders were completed, it was 3:40 AM! SHIT! That means that we have five minutes to run across the airport with drinks in one hand, luggage in the other, and whatever else Salina, Jackie, Priscilla, Diana, and/or Aileen might be carrying along. We pass California Pizza Kitchen, getting a little closer to our destination but with only four minutes left. We convert from a jog to a full out sprint and all of our drinks begin to spill along the edges of the cups and our luggage is practically being dragged, but none of this matters if we FREAKING GET ON THE PLANE IN TIME!!!! We get so desperate we just drop our drinks on the floor, pick up our bags, and run like there is no tomorrow, and there won’t be if we don’t get that plane! By the time we were in the C terminal, there was only one minute left! OMG! Running through the crowds of people and weaving through obstacles, we finally found terminal C9 and ran to the guy at the check-in counter and gave him our tickets. Then we tiredly dragged ourselves into the small tunnel that connected to the plane, picked our seats, conveniently all in one row, and dropped ourselves into the comfort of the supple leather seats and prepared for a journey of a lifetime. We each entertained ourselves with diverse activities throughout the long plane ride. Diana doodled on every possible little space in her notebook, both Jackie and Salina were listening and singing along to their IPODs, Priscilla was taking millions of pictures of herself with her new hot pink Polaroid digital camera, and Aileen was playing with her brand new Nintendo DS. Finally, three hours later, three ELONGATED hours later, we landed at the LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA. Next, we were supposed to go on Flight 9286 to Mexico City, Mexico at 9:50 AM at terminal B3, according to Priscilla, and meet Priscilla’s grandma’s friend named Claire. For now on, let’s just call her Claire and not have to elucidate the whole Priscilla’s grandma’s friend thingy all the time. Anyways, it was about 7:15 AM and Salina’s and Priscilla’s stomachs were growling, what’s new? We all decided to go to Burger King for breakfast - I know, how healthy – and everybody ordered some kind of salad because this summer, we were all trying to lose a few pounds at the least. We had about 2 hours and 35 minutes to kill so we were strolling through the airport, shopping, getting drink and snacks, looking at books in BORDERS, and just pretty much browsing around. All five of us, I guess, were preoccupied with something because none of us had noticed the announcement for Flight 9286 at 8:50 AM! We found that out when we went to terminal B3 at 9:50 AM on the dot to board the plane and were told that the plane left an hour ago. Aileen had the initiative to ask the employee if we could catch another plane but unfortunately, flights to Mexico are infrequent so there wouldn’t be another one for about 4 weeks! What are we going to do in Los Angeles, CA for four weeks?! We can’t just decide to fly back to Washington because that would mean we came out here to California for nothing! We left Washington State looking for adventure and the best summer ever, and little did we know that what we were looking for was right around the corner. “Hey ummmm…. Mom?” Jackie said hesitantly. “Hi honey, aren’t you supposed to be on your flight right now?” Jackie’s mom answered back questionably. “Uhhhhh…. Yeah that’s the problem….. we kind of missed our flight…..” Silence. “WHHHAATTTT!!!!???” “Ummmm…. Well the worst part is that their wont be another flight to Mexico in four weeks.” Jackie says quietly. “Oh my god, young lady, you are going to be in so much trouble when you come back!” Jackie’s mom yells and then in a calmer voice, “Let me call your aunt who luckily lives in that area and have her pick you five up. Meanwhile, just stay there.” Psshhh…. Like we have any other place to go. The LAX Airport was a pretty exciting place to be considering the fact that some celebrity that we couldn’t see due to the crowds of paparazzi and the many security guards surround and what seemed to be, a tall blonde celebrity. We probably each thinking, Wow, I wish I was famous so I could be: in all these magazines and photos, filthy rich, have everyone worship me, known to all people, and able to do whatever I want. The paparazzi always following you everywhere, unlimited money, hang out with all the famous people in the magazines who you longed to be, and have special treatment anywhere you go, being famous would make life seem a lot easier. All of a sudden, the blonde celebrity began walking towards the ladies room and darted through the door. After her entrance, the five out of twelve bodyguards she had stood in a row covering the entrance to the restroom. “Oh my god, we have to get in there!” Priscilla whispered as she began to huddle the five of us into a tight circle. “So let’s decide the game plan now. Diana, get all your red inks and paints and color Salina’s “lower area” red, then Salina, go up to the security guards and ask for a tampon and say its an emergency. Then Diana, go up to the some of the other guys and start gibbering to them and just start talking REALLY fast. Jackie, you need to stand up on the tables and chairs and have like…..a singing performance or something. I dunno, you’ll think of something. All three of you need to distract the paparazzi, bodyguards, and people in the airport so Aileen and I can break in through the janitor’s entrance without being seen. We’ll be as quick as possible, I promise. This spirit tears up churches, emasculates and seduces men of god into webs of deceit and sexual bondage. I'm sure you have noticed how these women confessed of their early life molestations and rapes, and entered the scene looking modest and submissive. They all seemed to start out humble and spiritual. But then, once the money poured in and their influence grew, they went for the gold. Makeup galore, face lifts, body toning and plastic surgery. Getting fit and trim enough to leave their husbands only to begin showing off their new (offering and tithe purchased) bodies, showing the world their independent sexiness. The modest look no longer was necessary because thousands of women were hooked. Now they could weave their web of deceit even thicker by moving from God's girls to worldly women. But what happens when the Jezebel spirit occupies a man? What happens when this seducing spirit entices men through a man? I know that sounds crazy, but we have this happening right now before our eyes. Yes, Bishop TD Jakes is the dawning of a new era of men that possess a seducing spirit meant to entice men of God into a web of deceit and sexual submission. How, you may ask? And unless you just flew in from Pluto, you know that he has most black preachers and pastors that wanna be something in his world submitting to his money and power. They want the money, the fame, the access to the stars, the television, the movies, the parties and elite celebrations. They want access to Oprah and Dr. Phil. They want a television audience without even drawing their own communities to their churches. They have been seduced, but the bitter end is coming early for many of them. They are falling like flies. They are getting caught with their pants down literally! They are being set up to fall and the Devil is laughing while he preserves his "queen" and keeps her spirit safe in the body of a cunning leader. While his family is tormented by internet rumors, while his spiritual children are tormented by divorce and immoral exposures, and while his church congregation is plagued with homosexual and lesbian spirits, he continues to lift himself up and use every avenue possible for a financial exchange. Even TD Jakes bibles studies in his churches are costly. Everything is for sale and nothing is free. Charging upwards of 50,000 dollars to come to your event and then charging admission at the door as well as several offerings tells us that this is a money thing. The man that has captivated many former holiness believers and turned them into carnal crusaders! Okay, now for the history of the earring on a male. In the bible days, it was a symbol of slavery. Slaves were tagged on their ears for identification and ownership. Later, in the Egyptian culture, the mark of 2 earrings or multiple piercings on a male represented bi-sexuality and whoreish behavior. And all the great kings and leaders of Godless civilizations that were lascivious in behavior wore them as this symbol. In the early 70's pimps started wearing 1 earring in the black community as a symbol of slavery to sex. It meant that you were a player and enjoyed multiple sex partners. He has said it's "understandable" for a man to have affections for other men because when God made man, women was inside of him?" He has promoted every homosexual gospel singer in the industry and has even presented a lifetime achievement award to Bobby Jones? Every since the very first Megafest conference, I have been warning the body of Christ of where this was going. Any man that will invite false god worshipers like India Arie or Will Smith to take the stage at a pentecostal type conference is not God lead. Jakes has also began denying that Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven by stating that the “Other sheep that are not of this fold” are other religions or beliefs and saying that he cannot rule out an inclusive rapture of the saints of God, leaving it open for others that may not believe in Jesus? His exact quote to a Muslim's question as to whether only Christians go to Heaven: "When it comes to Heaven, I try to leave that up to God. I certainly believe that Christianity is right, but when it comes down to the final test--who goes and who doesn't go--Jesus said, Other sheep have I who are not of this fold. Them also must I bring. This summer, the summer after middle school and before high school, will be the most challenging, exciting, scary, adventurous, surprising, and overall, awesome summer ever. The five of our lives are essentially never going to be the same after this summer of twist, turns, and through streets that just may seem like dead ends. The 8th grade year has come to an end. Many wonderful times and many more dreadful times, but we got through it, together. When I mean “we”, I mean my little clique of friends: Aileen, Jackie, Salina, Diana, and me. After all the complicated work, all the struggles to get through 8th grade and move on in life, everything is finally over. Mr. Chicka, the vice principal, is always the one participating in announcements, awards, school events, and pretty much everything. Peace out.” Then, again, more applause. “Next, for most talented, Salina Abraham!” Thank God he pronounced her name correctly. “Thank you so much everybody, I would like to thank my parents and friends ---“ “Excuse me, Ms. Abraham, a speech is not necessary.” Salina ignores Mr. Chicka and continues to talk, until, well, the school security comes. She says one last “thank you” and is forced off the stage, talk about guts! “Okay…..Next, I would like to present Jackie Manson for the most dazzling smile. Congratulations!” Jackie scampers up to the stage, grabs the certificate, and squeals an “Oh my god!” so high pitched, I swear, the windows should have broken, but instead the microphone made these screeching sounds, talk about magical powers! “For most creative student, Diana Chen come on up and receive your award!” She walks up there, takes the certificate, and then just simply walks back to her seat. “Last but not least, I would like to award ############ for most charming personality!” The crowd screams, whistles, and claps as I strut down the main walkway to the stage to claim my award. I walk up to Mr. Chicka, take the certificate, and then walk to the microphone and say, “Thanks everybody! I am so honored, I love you all!” Then the crowd goes wild again, I am such a crowd pleaser! After the assembly, everyone was talking about “the fantastic five” and how we each got an award for something. I guess we are just simply amazing, like that’s a surprise. From that moment on, all of our phones have been ringing off the hook due to all of us calling each other at every and any waking moment possible, to talk about the trip. It was planned. We would be flying from the SeaTac Airport to the El Rosa Airport at 4 AM on July 13, 2008 and come back exactly 6 weeks later. This would be our first big trip together and it would make our lives change forever, even more than we would have thought! We would be on flight number 1376 on Mexico International Airlines. There were five tickets, one for each of us, and we would be staying at my grandma’s friend’s home who just happens to live next door to Salma Heyek. This trip, though we may not know it, is going to change our lives and have many twists and turns that will carry all of us on a journey together. “Flight 1376 is ready to board, I repeat, Flight 1376 is ready to board, if this is your flight, please report to terminal C9 to board the plane. Thank you.” That was our cue to get out of Starbucks and get going towards our terminal before we miss our plane, which wouldn’t be good, not good at all. I ordered a light caramel frappicino with triple shots and whipped cream, Salina ordered a mocha cappuccino, Jackie, a pumpkin spice frappicino, Diana a black coffee, and Aileen, a hot chocolate. After all our orders were completed, it was 3:40 AM! SHIT! That means that we have five minutes to run across the airport with drinks in one hand, luggage in the other, and whatever else Salina, Jackie, Diana, Aileen, and I might be carrying along. We pass California Pizza Kitchen, getting a little closer to our destination but with only four minutes left. We convert from a jog to a full out sprint and all of our drinks begin to spill along the edges of the cups and our luggage is practically being dragged, but none of this matters if we FREAKING GET ON THE PLANE IN TIME!!!! We get so desperate we just drop our drinks on the floor, pick up our bags, and run like there is no tomorrow, and there won’t be if we don’t get that plane! By the time we were in the C terminal, there was only one minute left! OMG! Running through the crowds of people and weaving through obstacles, we finally found terminal C9 and ran to the guy at the check-in counter and gave him our tickets. Then we tiredly dragged ourselves into the small tunnel that connected to the plane, picked our seats, conveniently all in one row, and dropped ourselves into the comfort of the supple leather seats and prepared for a journey of a lifetime. We each entertained ourselves with diverse activities throughout the long plane ride. Diana doodled on every possible little space in her notebook, both Jackie and Salina were listening and singing along to their IPODs, I was taking millions of pictures of myself with her new hot pink Polaroid digital camera, and Aileen was playing with her brand new Nintendo DS. Finally, three hours later, three ELONGATED hours later, we landed at the LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA. Next, we were supposed to go on Flight 9286 to Mexico City, Mexico at 9:50 AM at terminal B3, according to me, and meet my grandma’s friend named Claire. For now on, let’s just call her Claire and not have to elucidate the whole “my grandma’s friend” thingy all the time. Anyways, it was about 7:15 AM and Salina’s and my stomachs were growling, what’s new? We all decided to go to Burger King for breakfast - I know, how healthy – and everybody ordered some kind of salad because this summer, we were all trying to lose a few pounds at the least. We had about 2 hours and 35 minutes to kill so we were strolling through the airport, shopping, getting drink and snacks, looking at books in BORDERS, and just pretty much browsing around. All five of us, I guess, were preoccupied with something because none of us had noticed the announcement for Flight 9286 at 8:50 AM! We found that out when we went to terminal B3 at 9:50 AM on the dot to board the plane and were told that the plane left an hour ago. Aileen had the initiative to ask the employee if we could catch another plane but unfortunately, flights to Mexico are infrequent so there wouldn’t be another one for about 4 weeks! What are we going to do in Los Angeles, CA for four weeks?! We can’t just decide to fly back to Washington because that would mean we came out here to California for nothing! We left Washington State looking for adventure and the best summer ever, and little did we know that what we were looking for was right around the corner. “Hey ummmm…. Mom?” Jackie said hesitantly. “Hi honey, aren’t you supposed to be on your flight right now?” Jackie’s mom answered back questionably. “Uhhhhh…. Yeah that’s the problem….. we kind of missed our flight…..” Silence. “WHHHAATTTT!!!!???” “Ummmm…. Well the worst part is that their wont be another flight to Mexico in four weeks.” Jackie says quietly. “Oh my god, young lady, you are going to be in so much trouble when you come back!” Jackie’s mom yells and then in a calmer voice, “Let me call your aunt who luckily lives in that area and have her pick you five up. Meanwhile, just stay there.” Psshhh…. Like we have any other place to go. The LAX Airport was a pretty exciting place to be considering the fact that some celebrity that we couldn’t see due to the crowds of paparazzi and the many security guards surround and what seemed to be, a tall blonde celebrity. We probably each thinking, Wow, I wish I was famous so I could be: in all these magazines and photos, filthy rich, have everyone worship me, known to all people, and able to do whatever I want. The paparazzi always following you everywhere, unlimited money, hang out with all the famous people in the magazines who you longed to be, and have special treatment anywhere you go, being famous would make life seem a lot easier. All of a sudden, the blonde celebrity began walking towards the ladies room and darted through the door. After her entrance, the five out of twelve bodyguards she had stood in a row covering the entrance to the restroom. “Oh my god, we have to get in there!” I whispered as I began to huddle the five of us into a tight circle. “So let’s decide the game plan now. Diana, get all your red inks and paints and color Salina’s “lower area” red, then Salina, go up to the security guards and ask for a tampon and say its an emergency. Then Diana, go up to the some of the other guys and start gibbering to them and just start talking REALLY fast. Jackie, you need to stand up on the tables and chairs and have like…..a singing performance or something. I dunno, you’ll think of something. All three of you need to distract the paparazzi, bodyguards, and people in the airport so Aileen and I can break in through the janitor’s entrance without being seen. We’ll be as quick as possible, I promise. Do we ever get any stories on any voting bloc that could be beneficial to the Republicans? No, we don't. From that moment on, all of our phones have been ringing off the hook due to all of us calling each other at every and any waking moment possible, to talk about the trip. It was planned. We would be flying from the SeaTac Airport to the El Rosa Airport at 4 AM on July 13, 2008 and come back exactly 6 weeks later. This would be our first big trip together and it would make our lives change forever, even more than we would have thought! We would be on flight number 1376 on Mexico International Airlines. There were five tickets, one for each of us, and we would be staying at Priscilla’s grandma’s friend’s home who just happens to live next door to This trip, though we may not know it, is going to change our lives and have many twists and turns that will carry all of us on a journey, together. “Flight 1376 is ready to board, I repeat, Flight 1376 is ready to board, if this is your flight, please report to terminal C9 to board the plane. Thank you.” That was our cue to get out of Starbucks and get going towards our terminal before we miss our plane, which wouldn’t be good, not good at all. Priscilla ordered a light caramel frappicino with triple shots and whipped cream, Salina ordered a mocha cappuccino, Jackie, a pumpkin spice frappicino, Diana a black coffee, and Aileen, a hot chocolate. After all our orders were completed, it was 3:40 AM! SHIT! That means that we have five minutes to run across the airport with drinks in one hand, luggage in the other, and whatever else Salina, Jackie, Priscilla, Diana, and/or Aileen might be carrying along. We pass California Pizza Kitchen, getting a little closer to our destination but with only four minutes left. We convert from a jog to a full out sprint and all of our drinks begin to spill along the edges of the cups and our luggage is practically being dragged, but none of this matters if we FREAKING GET ON THE PLANE IN TIME!!!! We get so desperate we just drop our drinks on the floor, pick up our bags, and run like there is no tomorrow, and there won’t be if we don’t get that plane! By the time we were in the C terminal, there was only one minute left! OMG! Running through the crowds of people and weaving through obstacles, we finally found terminal C9 and ran to the guy at the check-in counter and gave him our tickets. Then we tiredly dragged ourselves into the small tunnel that connected to the plane, picked our seats, conveniently all in one row, and dropped ourselves into the comfort of the supple leather seats and prepared for a journey of a lifetime. We each entertained ourselves with diverse activities throughout the long plane ride. Diana doodled on every possible little space in her notebook, both Jackie and Salina were listening and singing along to their IPODs, Priscilla was taking millions of pictures of herself with her new hot pink Polaroid digital camera, and Aileen was playing with her brand new Nintendo DS. Finally, three hours later, three ELONGATED hours later, we landed at the LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA. Next, we were supposed to go on Flight 9286 to Mexico City, Mexico at 9:50 AM at terminal B3, according to Priscilla, and meet Priscilla’s grandma’s friend named Claire. For now on, let’s just call her Claire and not have to elucidate the whole Priscilla’s grandma’s friend thingy all the time. Anyways, it was about 7:15 AM and Salina’s and Priscilla’s stomachs were growling, what’s new? We all decided to go to Burger King for breakfast - I know, how healthy – and everybody ordered some kind of salad because this summer, we were all trying to lose a few pounds at the least. We had about 2 hours and 35 minutes to kill so we were strolling through the airport, shopping, getting drink and snacks, looking at books in BORDERS, and just pretty much browsing around. All five of us, I guess, were preoccupied with something because none of us had noticed the announcement for Flight 9286 at 8:50 AM! We found that out when we went to terminal B3 at 9:50 AM on the dot to board the plane and were told that the plane left an hour ago. Aileen had the initiative to ask the employee if we could catch another plane but unfortunately, flights to Mexico are infrequent so there wouldn’t be another one for about 4 weeks! What are we going to do in Los Angeles, CA for four weeks?! We can’t just decide to fly back to Washington because that would mean we came out here to California for nothing! We left Washington State looking for adventure and the best summer ever, and little did we know that what we were looking for was right around the corner. “Hey ummmm…. Mom?” Jackie said hesitantly. “Hi honey, aren’t you supposed to be on your flight right now?” Jackie’s mom answered back questionably. “Uhhhhh…. Yeah that’s the problem….. we kind of missed our flight…..” Silence. “WHHHAATTTT!!!!???” “Ummmm…. Well the worst part is that their wont be another flight to Mexico in four weeks.” Jackie says quietly. “Oh my god, young lady, you are going to be in so much trouble when you come back!” Jackie’s mom yells and then in a calmer voice, “Let me call your aunt who luckily lives in that area and have her pick you five up. Meanwhile, just stay there.” Psshhh…. Like we have any other place to go. The LAX Airport was a pretty exciting place to be considering the fact that some celebrity that we couldn’t see due to the crowds of paparazzi and the many security guards surround and what seemed to be, a tall blonde celebrity. We probably each thinking, Wow, I wish I was famous so I could be: in all these magazines and photos, filthy rich, have everyone worship me, known to all people, and able to do whatever I want. The paparazzi always following you everywhere, unlimited money, hang out with all the famous people in the magazines who you longed to be, and have special treatment anywhere you go, being famous would make life seem a lot easier. All of a sudden, the blonde celebrity began walking towards the ladies room and darted through the door. After her entrance, the five out of twelve bodyguards she had stood in a row covering the entrance to the restroom. “Oh my god, we have to get in there!” Priscilla whispered as she began to huddle the five of us into a tight circle. “So let’s decide the game plan now. Diana, get all your red inks and paints and color Salina’s “lower area” red, then Salina, go up to the security guards and ask for a tampon and say its an emergency. Then Diana, go up to the some of the other guys and start gibbering to them and just start talking REALLY fast. Jackie, you need to stand up on the tables and chairs and have like…..a singing performance or something. I dunno, you’ll think of something. All three of you need to distract the paparazzi, bodyguards, and people in the airport so Aileen and I can break in through the janitor’s entrance without being seen. We’ll be as quick as possible, I promise. Does each of you know your position?” Salina, Jackie, Aileen, and Diana all seemed confused by what Priscilla just explained and kind of just stood their shocked for a few moments and a minute later, they shot their hands in the middle of the huddle and yelled “BREAK!” The diabolical plan has begun.

Miley Cyrus' behavior getting more risque? So surely most of you have heard about and or seen the new pics of Miley in Vanity Fair... My daughters (AND I) are big fans, she's a great actress and singer and has been a positive role model...maybe thats starting to change? I teach my girls to dress modestly, it's a big thing for my husband and I, so we are great with celebrities they admire that are modest as well, lately I feel she is getting more risque with her clothing as well as with her behavior. New hairstyle~what do ya think? Ok so I am wanting to cut my hair since I'll be turning 22 years old in Dec. and I'd like something I can curl and fix up. My hair is really long, it's litterally half my body if not more. I'm 4'7" and it's down to my butt. I love my hair being long I'm just tired of it getting caught and tangled in things, taking so long to brush and blow dry it, me or someone else laying on it. I hate how I like going places and getting dressed up and my make up on but my hair is always in a pony tail because I dunno what to do with it. Everyone likes my hair long and thinks it's my trade mark but I'm tired of it being this long. I decided that if they like the long hair than get grow it and manage it their selfs. Kristen Stewart's watch?
