about this prom dress?

I know its by Faviana (I copy and saved it last year) but I cant find its website to see the price and such. So I'm thinking of getting it made. About how much do you think it'll cost from a seamstress? What about if I get a family friend to do it? What will the difficulty be? Do you think its way too dressy for prom? My mom says its like a celebrity red carpet kinda gown. But I found it under a prom catagory so that doesnt really make sense.. I think our theme is going to be Red Carpet or Hollywood anyway...so I think itll be fine. Well...whatchu think??? It doesnt have to be exactly like it... jus something along the lines of that. probably not as much beading and jewels. i love it so much! if i do get it made ill get it dressed down alittle so its not SOOO dressy. but every prom dress ive seen is so typical and boringgg. i want to stand out! Yeah I can see how and why its busy. But Ill definately tone it down so it'll be easier to re create and stuff. Probably get rid of the bead work towards the center and that just playin gold fabric. And then as for the back...ahave a low cut..with rhinestone strap design criss crossing. And definately not all those ruffles towards the bottom

  7. i dont really like it. but i would try to find it instead of making someone in your family attempt. looks way too hard. a seamstress probably wont make it look like that, too much beading and detail.
  8. I think it is such a pretty dress. I don't think it is too much if the theme is Red Carpet. I think it would be very difficult to make and will probably cost around $300.00.

  13. It would be very difficult to make because of all the detailing and beading on it. idk how much a seamstress would charge, it all depends on the cost of the fabric and trims and stuff... I don't think it's too dressy at all i think it would be great, but honestly it would be very time consuming to make... and possibly difficult because it's so elaborate. Contact a seamstress and see what they say.

  17. I think it is really pretty. But if you can't find it on the internet any where I doubt that you will be able to have it made it would take a very good seamstress to do it. That could get pricey. It is a gorgeous dress though
  18. I think it's really pretty and will make one heck of a statement at the prom. I'm sure you'll be gorgeous in it!!! However, you're gonna need a really good seamstress to pull it off. I'm sure it'll be really expensive because of the bead work and the delicacy of the materials the seamstress will work with. You may be better off buying it, that is if you can locate it.
  19. oh my lord its absolutely gorgeous!! it might cost alot, i guess it depends on the material you get. even with less expensive material it will probably be pretty costly. its so beautiful tho :)
  20. i understand you wanting to stand out but that dress seems like a lot of detail and things going on especially towards the bottom. i think the color is a beautiful choice and if your having a red carpet theme then that will work. be careful if you have enough time for such an extravagant dress other than that the dress is very pretty. oh yeah toning it down a little is a really good idea{especially towards the bottom} please send pics of the finished product if you can dying to see
