My Graduation party is tomorrow and I'm SO NERVOUS! What can I do to calm myself down?

My graduation dinner/dance is tomorrow and I'm really nervous for it! Even before the dinner/dance we have to walk on a red carpet in our gowns and with our dates in front of basically the entire town (I live in a small town). Ahhh! I'm a reserved person and I don't ever like to have all of the attention on me. However, tomorrow all of the attention will be on me, when I walk down the red carpet, and I'm terrified! I've already taken a bath and I'm listening to calming music which is helping me a bit...but my mind set is just wrong. I shouldn't be worried, I should be excited! This is a once in a lifetime event and I don't want to be scared! HELP!

  1. finger yourself no chick can be tense when she got fingered

I think i will miss all the memories of high school and all the friends i made along the way. But noe, i got senioritis hardcore, i dont want to keep going, but keep tellin myself thats its only four weeks, well 3.lol
  3. i know how u feel. next friday is my graduation and im feeling super nervous already my friend gave me some advice today.just forget it don't think about doing it and just dive right into it. when u wake up that morning just think its another day
  4. -Remind Yourself that Nobody Else is going to want to be there- either... And that a month from now- nobody's gonna remember how you looked ANYWAY (UNLESS- you have a "wardrobe malfunction"- that lasts longer than Janet Jackson's !). :) Just Relax; go & have a good time... They'll be plenty of MORE Nerve Racking experiences to "look forward to..."- down the road..... :)
  5. Listening to some soothing music as you've said helps me when I'm nervous (classical is a good choice, if you're into it). Read a book, do something to take your mind off the anxiety you're feeling. Tomorrow, don't take yourself so seriously. Just enjoy the moment, have fun with your friends and family, and you'll likely find that at the end of the day, it will have passed too quickly.
  6. Think of the best. Your graduating... No school... You start your career.... Just relax... Listen to music, take a nice bubble bath. Like what the guy said first, finger yourself, It really does work. (I'm a girl, I should know :-)) I hope this helps.
