Oscar Dresses

Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of Hollywood stars are losing fashion sense?

I'm not saying ALL but a good number. I mean all those outfits they keep on wearing to the red carpet are so ugly and trashy looking. I mean if they have a lot of money they could dress really nice. I know tons of normals people who dress WAY better than them. Like all nice and classy and elegant. I have no idea were they get those outfits but they are horrible. Very disspointing. I did like how Angelina Jolie dressed for the red carpet recently in the nice flowing light orangish or rose gown, kind of... But i think Shu Qi wore a very baeautful and elegant looking gown. But Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the best. Her gown was the most beautiful. But SHe's from Bollywood. Anyways. Am I the only one who feels like this?!

1. No, I agree with you. It seems that almost no one in Hollywood has a unique sense of style anymore. They all look identical now, with the same trashy outfits and everything.

3. Yeah! theyre always photographed wearing the stupidest clothes like thye came out of the trash its so stupid they can buy anything they want and they choose those clothes! sometimes they look like hobos!
4. I don't think you quite understand how Hollywood works. Actors and actresses do not have much say in what they wear. They usually go to a designer who CHOOSES what they wear, also some actors/actresses are paid to wear a designer's clothing to "get the word" out... all in all, i don't really follow celebrity trends b/c they are followed by 98% of the rest of the american population...
5. Nope, I agree. Lady Gaga's 'fashion' sense is absurd to me. Same with... what's his name? Adam Lambert? I know fashion is supposedly offbeat sometimes, but I think they should make it more realistic, really. Most people aren't going to wear anything like that in real life and out of Hollywood.
6. No, you're right. They just go with what is trendy, not with what actually looks good. Think of it this way, Annie Hall is considered a fashion icon. What a waste.
7. I agree, it seems so many will wear anything that's been on the catwalk or that some strange designer has created.. despite hw clearly awful it looks! I mean, surely they still have eyes? Surely they can see what they look like? Maybe it's a conspiracy lol, they have to dress stupid in order to keep getting their millions =P Ok, probably not, but there must be some reason they do it? It can't be through choice?!?!

9. i agree! but the depression look is coming back and i think that's why, i deffinatly would'nt wear it!
