Wedding Question?

I will b getting married this july. my gown has a long train my wedding is outdoors at a gazebo. it is a large gazebo and while i stand at the alter my trainw ill nicely lay down the stairs of the gazebo (it is a large gazebo). now my question is would it b tacky to get a 'red carpet' for the ground? we will have some of r wedding party in red. so do u think if i had a carpet itd b wisest to have it in black? or w/ the tuxes would this make too much black? also, my gown has sleeves but they r mesh im conflicted about the sleeves for a summer wedding...it will be held in the evening at 6:30 pm so it will b cooling off? r there any thoughts on this? http://www.christinagowns.com/images/product/large/lg_2847.jpg this is very close to my gown almost identical Thanks everyone! im starting to get burnt out any help is greatly appreciated

  1. no red carpet, but get what's called an aisle runner http://www.save-on-crafts.com/brairu75fo9.html The dress is fine for an evening wedding.
  2. What a gorgeous gown! Maybe go for a blue carpet.
  3. that gown is very nice the sleeves look fine for summer and i think red would look wonderful
  4. That's an absolutely gorgeous dress, and the sleeve type will be perfect for a summer evening wedding. Your gazebo set-up sounds very pretty. While most runners are white, you can have any color you desire. Red would accent your white train beautifully, black would be too much, in my opinion. I'm sure everything will be great, just take a deep breath and relax. I know all about the burn out, I got married a year ago and planned every detail myself. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials.
  5. Red would be fine in my opinion. Your gown is gorgeous and I'm sure once the sun begins to set that the temperature will drop. Best wishes for a beautiful wedding!
  6. Cute Dress Sweetie. I think you should get a light blue ow maybe a red carpet and sprinkle white flowers all the way down romantic and sweet. Good Luck. Enjoy!!
  7. I love that dress. I think a "carpet" would be too much for July. But it is not my wedding. I think you should be okay with the way your gown is. If anything maybe a shaw.
