Red carpet wedding dress?

I don't want to wear a white gown for my wedding and instead want to look like I belong on a Hollywood red carpet ready to accept my award for best actress. I'm getting married at the end of September of this year and I love colour. I have an hour glass figure, about 5'0", brown hair, brown eyes and fair coloured skin. Can anyone suggest some styles of gowns and colours that would look good on me. If you could post links to pictures, that would be great too. Thank you!

Maybe a barely pink dress. I can't remember who wore that color to the Oscars but it was gorgeous and feminine.

Well, don't have time to look up pictures right now, but turquoise is supposed to be the in color or so I've seen and brown with everything. Yuck, stay away from the brown. An off the shoulder or a one shoulder slightly form fitting, yet a little bit of chiffon on skirt for some bling and have maybe a broach on top of one shoulder covering with silver chic shoes and have hair up, but in a loose floushy style not Grace Kelly style in her older days and some very chic, not too big but like one long diamonte chain set of earrings, no necklace. Let your hair being up and earrings only frame your neck area and show off your neckline. This color should look good with your coloring. The only other thing,( staying away from a dusky pink woud be gorgeous, but most brides are pinked out) a medium coral, not peach and not orange. With your hair and eyes should pop. I have fair skin, strawberry blonde and peach family is my best. I know you dont want a white wedding 'gown' but Im not sure if you dont want anything white or if it is just the idea of a huge cinderella dress that puts you off. ... in that case I almost bought a dress from david's bridal that is definately hollywood glam and comes in white and off white. It is a form fitting dress that will show off an hourglass figure - has a heart neckline and a lacy look with a trumpet or mermaid bottom. It would be perfect with soft curled hair and dramatic eyes. the champagne off white color would give you a beautiful color on your skin and hair. other wise go for a deep blue or green to show off your skin eyes and hair - of course I would stay with a form fitting gown to show off that figure!
I think this dress would definitely show off your figure and the color would be quite striking against your skin. I've seen the dress in person and the color is definitely ruby like the picture.
