A king's red gown(why I like them)?

Hello I the picture above, I am not sure what the proper name is for the red outfit I am wearing in this picture labeled 'Arctic King'. What is it called? A cape, a gown, a robe, a cloak? Also I tried one on to see what it was like, and had it on for 10 minutes; and for hours after, I felt like I was still wearing it. This is sort of like when you are outside strawberry picking and after a days strawberry picking, you close your eyes and see strawberries in your sleep. Not really sure why that is. I like the feeling of wearing it and feeling like a king, and also it is loving and soft and cosseting like a fur coat. Not sure what would happen if I walked outside in it, as it would drag along the grass and turn stained with plant juice. It would have to be machine washed at 90 degrees centigrade in biological washing powder. It would probably shrink knowing my luck! Imagine that happening to a king? Also it seems strange as it drags on carpets a little, not too much. Is that supposed to be that way? CREED
