How should I do my eye makeup for prom?

Amethyst colored gown in satin. I was thinking of a Natalie portman 2009 oscar makeup, but her dress was a lot lighter in color would it work for my dress (amethyst)? Im oriental by the way. with medium skin..i just spent the whole day outside.

3. Hi why not go with olive green as your accent color for your eye makeup? Olive looks great with most asian women's skin background, and it should pick up the glints in your eyes. Another tip would be to go deep purple like a plum or even eggplant eye shadow. Stay away from pinks, and pinky purple as your undertone is most likely a yellowy or a olive undertone being asian--however you can chose to get the same drama look with liquid black eye liner or if you want a softer look: brown, or deep brown or even a brown/black if you can find it.
