some bread of oscars never acctualy stop growing they grow to a large size in thier tank and continue very slowly other oscars take arround two years if thier tank is large enough but the bigger the tank the bigger the fish, i had a tiger oscar in a good size tank for three years and when i upgraded to a larger tank he grew again so it depends on what size tank you have.
